Hey Blog Buddies,
We had a very cold and gloomy end to April, but the sun's out now so May seems promising. I missed most of that gloom because we were out of town last week; the weather where we were staying was nicer--more on that in another post. I took four projects with me for stitching in the evening. Ha, ha, what was I thinking? I got a little bit of stitching in on the trip (Autumn Logs), but not much.
On to the list...

On to the list...
First up we have the afore-mentioned Autumn Logs
by Needle Delights Originals
Here's where I was last month.
And this month. So close--the border stitches up quickly.
Here's Dawn Chorus by Long Dog Samplers, as of last month.
Here's this month's progress. The end is in sight!
But there's still a lot left to stitch.
We met this fellow last month:
Tanja Berlin's blackwork horse.
I did get the stitching started!
Tanja's model is all black,
but I'm turning my guy into a bay.
Last but not least, I finally started this piece.
That barn took a while to build!
I'm stitching this on 25-count
wedgewood blue lugana, one over one.
That's it from here.
They (Google) rolled out their new
photo site replacing Picasa recently,
and this was my first attempt at using it.
I'm sure it can do many things
of which I'm not aware,
but I must have figured out the basics,
since my photos showed up in this post!
Thanks, as always, for visiting!

Great progress on everything and it's always surprising to me how long 1 over 1 seems to take.
What a great update! You are stitching some lovely projects. I especially like the blackwork horse, it's really unusual particularly with your personalisation.
Love all these pieces. You are a quick stitcher even over one. Dawn chorus is really looking good. Can't believe all you finished already on the horse. and autumn logs is nearly done. Great work!!!
Wow. Love all your pieces. The new barn is nice. You made super progress on DWn Chorus. It is lovely. And Autumn logs are nearly done! Can't believe you accomplished all that you did on the new black work horse! Speedy stitcher! Great work on all as always!
I love them all.
Great work on all your projects. I love the colours in the Long Dog sampler.
The blackwork horse is looking good too, clever technique.
I'm always surprised at how long it takes to stitch those PS buildings, too! Really love your start, Pat. It will be fun to stitch all the farm animals...
Great to get away and work on all of those WIPS--and also visit with your stitching friends :)
Hope May brings warm weather to Pittsburgh, soon. So far, it's been much cooler and cloudier than our lovely April!
A post filled with loveliness.
The Long Dog is so bright and the horse looks really effective.
I love to see the logs though, that's a favourite to see in your updates.
What great progress on all your pieces! I'm so behind in reading blogs...
