Hey Blog Buddies,
The warmer weather is creeping in and soon it will be hot in my neck of the woods, so I tried to balance out this weekend with some outdoor things that needed to get done before it gets too hot and humid. But I did get some stitching and crocheting done, and I even have a finish to show you, to-wit:

My third and last crocheted bunny.
I think it's a little strange-looking,
but hopefully someone will buy it at the boutique.
This guy is over twice as big as
the pink/lilac bunnies I finished last week!
I may have to do something about
that red eye--it's a little crooked.
And on the stitchy front:
Prairie Schooler's Summer & Winter leaflet
yielded this little design for August.
The bee's wings were supposed to be white,
but I thought that they would be
lost against the platinum linen background,
so I went with DMC 168 (light grey).
I've gotten a little farther than this--
the photo got taken yesterday evening.
One or two more days and this should be done!
That's all I've got.

Check out her blog, here, to see what
my fellow hermitters created this weekend.
And don't forget to drool over Joyce's
stunning Butterfly Lace Mandala
which she finished this weekend, too!
Hope your weekend was fun.
Thanks for visiting!

Great PS stitching, these designs are so popular and always beautiful to watch grow.
I love the color of your bunny. Nice start on the PS August. I have been stitching those charts also.

Oh, a lovely bunny and a very nice PS stiching. On my wishlist.
Such a charming little bunny. I like the crooked eyes -- gives it character.
Your bunny is ADORABLE!
Your August piece is looking great too!
I love the multi-color bunny and I hope the only frog you see is the one in the stitch design, so cute.
The new bunny is so cute. I don't think you need to move his eye - adds to his charm :)
Love the new bunny. Just call him the hippie flower child. Adorable! Prairie Schooler looks great!
Awww! I love your little bunny. He's got quite the technicolour coat on :D PS's leaflets are so great and have repeat stitchability (love making new words!) in my opinion. I think I may have to get this leaflet as the frog, bird and bee are so enchanting. Hugs!
That is a psychedelic bunny! I know he will find a loving home. He is fabulous.
I love your August stitching too.
Aww cute bunny.
Sweet stitches.
Hugs x
the bunny is very cute. I wouldn't change his eye, it adds to his character.
I also love your August ps piece. They always look so cute stitched up. I will have to keep this in mind for a future project! LOL.
The bunny came out great, I like the yellow head and different colors for the eyes - someone will buy that right off. The August design is quite nice.
That bunny is sooooooo cute - he brought a grin to my face! Don't change a thing - he'll be the most popular fella at the boutique!
Love the bunny!!! I think the eyes gives him a little character. He will sell.
PS designs are always a winner and I do like the blue on the bee wings.
Jackie:)
What an adorable bunny. I think he is too cute. And grats on the finish. (Well, it wasn't finished in the blog entry, but it COULD be finished by now, so I'm going with it, lol.) WTG!!!
